Samsung Acclaim – First Android device by Samsung

Samsung Acclaim is the first Android based mobile phone launched in U.S. by Samsung in joint venture with U.S. Cellular. This handset is quite good looking with reliable and snappy performance. Most talked about features of this handset include Android 2.1 operating system that contains Google Mobile services like Google Maps, Google Talk, Gmail, Google Search and so forth. It has large 3.2 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 320×480 pixels supporting 265 K colours. In black colour casing this handset is designed in slider frame which slides to the right to open the QWERTY keyboard.
It has a 3.2 megapixel camera has digital zoom, auto focus and LED flash. It can capture images with a maximum resolution of 2048×1536 pixels. The internal memory of handset is 218 MB and you can increase it using expandable SD or SDHC cards of up to 32 GB. Apart from this, the connectivity features of handset are Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP technology and Wi-Fi connectivity as well as micro USB port.
